Market Surveillance Package: Relief or Burden for the Capital Goods Industry?

European Commission to Strengthen Market Surveillance
26.03.2013 On 13 February 2013, the European Commission adopted a comprehensive legislative package on market surveillance. Its essential components are a proposal for a regulation on market surveillance for products and a proposal for a regulation on the safety of consumer products. Further non-legislative elements include a communication and a multi-annual action plan.
